Kal Malhi is a visionary artist with a career spanning 30 years. Malhi's creative talents have seen her work on a myriad of highly creative commissions and collaborations including solo and group exhibitions. Private commissions she's undertaken have ranged from abstract or surreal paintings and photo-real portraits to one off pieces for meditation centres. Her unique creative approach enables her to create luminous images, vibrant with life, colour and energy. Her Indian roots, western culture and earthy spirituality resonate through the intricate layers of her paintings and her creative vision enables her to portray a very distinctive style of expression.

'I love creating images able to move as well
as moving, expressing the transient nature of life
in a thoughtful and contemplative way.
For me, each piece is a narrative.'

Whilst continuing her artistic practice Kal worked as Lead Artist on a range of Arts educational projects defining, developing and delivering work both within and outside of mainstream education.
